All garbage and rubbish shall be drained, wrapped and stored in the garbage totes provided by the contracted garbage collection company, or in durable, rust resisting, nonabsorbent, watertight, and easily washable, metal or plastic containers which shall have close fitting covers and adequate handles to facilitate collections. All yard waste shall be stored in containers or receptacles as provided in section 5-6-3 of this chapter. It shall be the duty of any person having household garbage, rubbish or yard waste to comply with all of the provisions of this chapter. Totes, garbage, rubbish or yard waste shall not be placed at the curb before twelve o'clock (12:00) noon on the day before the scheduled collection. All receptacles shall be removed from the curb by seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. on the day of collection. (Ord. 12-41, 4-15-2013)
