4-4-19: DOG OR CAT BITES; RABIES; OBSERVATION PERIOD:

Whenever any dog or cat bites a person, the owner of the dog or cat shall immediately notify the animal commissioner. The animal commissioner shall notify the administrator or deputy administrator for Kankakee County. The animal control act shall govern the terms of the dog or cat's confinement and observation.
