(A) It shall be unlawful for any child between the ages of seven (7) and seventeen (17) years who is subject to compulsory school attendance to be absent without valid cause except as permitted by the School Code.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person having custody or control of a child between the ages of seven (7) and seventeen (17) years who is subject to compulsory school attendance to allow such child to be absent without valid cause except as permitted by the School Code. (Ord. 06-60, 1-15-2007)
