(A) This chapter shall apply to all multi-family dwelling complexes, nursing or assisted living facilities, or lodging establishments located in the city which are now in existence, or which may hereafter be constructed or converted from other uses.
(B) The Regulatory Compliance Director and his or her authorized representative(s) are authorized to administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter and the Minimum Building Standards Code of the city’s building standards regulations.
(C) The Regulatory Compliance Department shall have the authority to render interpretations of this chapter and to adopt policies and procedures to clarify the application of its provisions.
