§ 113.08 ISSUANCE OF DRIVER'S PERMIT.
   A permit shall be issued to an applicant who has truthfully and correctly submitted the required sworn application, whose medical report reveals no physical condition which would impair his/her ability to safely operate a vehicle, who can communicate in the English language, who is at least 18 years of age, is licensed by the State Department of Public Safety to operate a taxicab and whose criminal history does not require denial of a permit pursuant to this subchapter. Upon approval and issuance of a permit, the applicant shall receive an identification card which shall contain a photograph of the applicant, identification number, physical description of driver and residence address. The driver's identification card shall be posted in any vehicle driven by the driver in such a manner as to be visible to all passengers.
