§ 51.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is set forth shall be punished as set forth in § 10.99.
   (B)   (1)   A person who continues a prohibited discharge or otherwise violates the provisions of §§ 51.010 et seq. is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction is punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000 for each act of violation and for each day of violation.
      (2)   In addition to proceeding under authority of division (A)(1) of this section, the city is entitled to pursue all other criminal and civil remedies, including injunctive relief, to which it is entitled under authority of statutes or ordinances against a person continuing prohibited discharges.

   (C)   Any person, operator or owner who shall violate any provision of §§ 51.070 et seq., shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $2,000, and each violation and each day a violation continues, shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punished accordingly.
