The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to the following.
(A) Motor vehicles.
(B) Prohibited weapons, as that term is defined in the Texas Penal Code.
(C) Gambling equipment, criminal instruments or weapons whose disposition is governed by Chapter 18 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
(D) Personal property subject to escheat under Tex. Prop. Code §§ 71.001 et seq.
(E) Property subject to forfeiture under the Texas Controlled Substances Act.
