§ 34.53 NOTICE TO OWNER.
   If the identity of the owner of the property can be ascertained, the Chief of Police shall send a notice by mail to the owner's last known address requesting that the owner claim the property. If a claim is made for property which is being held for evidence purposes, the claimant shall leave his/her name and current mailing address and shall claim such property after notice of its availability.
