(A) The plan provides coverage in accordance with this section.
(B) To the extent coverage is not excluded under §§ 30.20 or 30.22, the city shall indemnify and defend a plan member in accordance with terms of the plan, against a loss arising out of a claim, suit or judgment resulting from an act or omission of the plan member occurring during the discharge of the plan member's duties, and which is within the scope of the plan member's office, employment or assigned volunteer work with the city.
(C) A person whose position with the city terminates, has coverage in accordance with division (A) of this section for any event that occurred while the person was a plan member.
