1-22-7: DEFAULTS:

If on the building code administrative hearing date the owner or his attorney fails to appear, the hearing officer may find the owner in default and shall proceed with the building code administrative hearing and accept evidence relevant to the existence of a code violation. 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-31.1-5.
