8-2-4: REMOVAL; PERMIT REQUIRED:

It shall be unlawful to remove or cut down any such tree without having a permit therefor. Applications for such permits shall be made to the village clerk and approved by the superintendent of public works, before the permit shall be issued. (1928 Code §103)
