7-1-6: ABATEMENT OF NUISANCES:

It shall be unlawful for any person to permit or maintain the existence of any nuisance on property under his control. The village chief of police and the village board are hereby authorized to abate any nuisance existing in the village, whether such nuisance is one specifically recognized by ordinance or not. (1928 Code §214; amd. 1990 Code)
