3-4-2: AMENDMENTS:
The following words, provisions, and paragraphs shall be added to the following designated sections of the code adopted in section 3-4-1 of this chapter. These provisions supersede the requirements of the indicated provisions of such code.
   890.210 c) Plastic Pipe Tubing And Fittings For Potable Water Piping is added: "Plastic water supply lines and PEX water are prohibited within the village."
   890.210 e) "Water Distributing Pipe, Tubing And Fitting" is amended by adding:
      "All copper water pipe or tubing placed under the basement floor shall be class K and all sizes two-inches (2") and smaller above the basement floor shall be class L or M."
      “Residential garages with floor drains shall have a gas and oil interceptor.”
   890.1190 l) Water Meter Installation Requirements.
      All new construction serviced by the village of Manhattan water utility shall install a water meter and associated equipment in accordance with village of Manhattan public works requirements.
   890.1200 a) Change the minimum single-family residence service size to one-inch (1") type K copper.
   890.1320 q) All sanitary building sewer service laterals shall have a minimum of an eighteen-inch (18") fall from the lowest point of gravity service in the building to the invert of the sanitary sewer main. In the event an eighteen-inch (18") fall cannot be obtained, a pressure sewer system will be required.
   890.1360 g) Drain Below Foundation.
      Wherever the point of influent disposal of sanitary waste such as, but not limited to floor drains, sink traps or commodes is located or proposed to be located below the top of foundation elevation, the waste disposal system shall include an ejection system and back-flow preventer.
