3-3-2: AMENDMENTS:
The following words, provisions, and paragraphs shall be added to the following designated sections of the code adopted in section 3-3-1 of this chapter. These provisions supersede the requirements of the indicated provisions of such code.
110-26(A) Add the following:
"In addition to the clearances shown in table 110-26(A)(1), the work space shall not be less than thirty six inches (36") measured from each edge of all electric equipment. There shall be no sump pits within the thirty six inches (36") measured from both sides of the panel."
110-26 (2) Change thirty inches (30") to thirty six inches (36").
110-60 Add the following section:
"All electrical wiring within residential, commercial, and industrial, and all accessory structures shall be enclosed in intermediate metal conduit (article 342), rigid metal conduit (article 344), flexible metal conduit (article 350) or electrical metal tubing (article 358)."
Repairs And Alterations: Where the cost of remodeling or repairs will not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the market valuation of the structure, non-metallic sheathed cable may be used in lieu of conduit, unless conduit is currently installed in the structure.
210-8(A) Change dwelling units to dwelling units and all other buildings.
230.85 Emergency disconnects delete the section.
352-2 Delete (A) and (C).
352-2(I) Add the following section: "In exterior sub-grade location only. The transition to metal shall be below grade with a metallic elbow."
Conductor Material: Conductors used to conduct current shall be of copper. All references to aluminum conductors shall be deleted.
