§ 158.16 FRANCHISE REQUIRED.
   This chapter is intended to provide authorization to use the public rights-of-way and is not intended to grant a franchise to transact business in the village, as required by Article VII, § 29 of the Michigan Constitution of 1963, or provide cable service (television), as required by § 309a of the Michigan Telecommunications Act, being M.C.L.A. § 484.2309a.
