For the purpose of providing flood plain management regulations consistent with the requirements of the FEMA and for continued participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), and for the general purpose of protecting public health, safety and welfare, the provisions of Appendix G of the Michigan Building Code are hereby adopted by reference and shall be enforced by the Village Building Official and enforcing agency for development and construction within designated flood hazard areas in the Village of Manchester.
