No person shall move, transport, or convey any building or other similar bulky or heavy object, including machinery, trucks, and trailers, larger in width than 14 feet, into, across, or along any street, alley, or other public place in the village without first obtaining a permit as provided in §§ 93.001 et seq., from the Superintendent. The permit shall specify the route to be used in the movement and no person shall engage in the movement along a route other than that specified in the permit. No housemoving permit shall be granted until the applicant shall post a cash deposit or bond as provided in §§ 93.001 et seq.
