(A) Regular village election date. Village elections shall be held biennially on the first Tuesday following the second Monday in odd-year Septembers.
(B) Village President and Trustees' terms of office and election. Three of the Village Trustees shall be elected at each biennial village election for the term of 4 years and until their successors are qualified. The Village President shall hold his or her office for a term of 4 years and until his or her successor is qualified.
(C) Effective date. This section shall become effective 45 days after its adoption and legal publication in accordance with the provisions of the Act governing the same.
