(A) Notice of violation. Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter shall be served by the village with a written notice of violation stating the nature of the violation, specifying the description and time limit for remedial action as recommended by the DPW. The time limit shall not be less than 30 days.
(B) Appeal. Any person who wishes to contest the recommendations of the DPW shall have the right of appeal to the Village Council within 30 days of the issue of the notice of violation. Any person shall have the right to litigate in a court of proper jurisdiction.
(C) Civil infraction. Any person who shall continue a violation beyond the time limit stated in the written notice shall be guilty of a civil infraction. Each day in which the violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
(D) Fine. The fine for violation of any provision of this chapter shall be set by Council resolution.
