The Mayor must be a person:
(A) Who is a citizen of the United States;
(B) Who is at least 21 years old;
(C) Who has been a resident of the state for a period of at least three years preceding the election to the office of Mayor;
(D) Who has been a resident for at least two years preceding the election to the office of Mayor of the city or an area which has been annexed by the city;
(E) Who is a qualified elector of the city; and
(F) The office of Mayor of the city is considered vacant if the individual elected as Mayor ceases to be a resident of the city.
