§ 150.033 INSPECTIONS.
   (A)   Inspections shall be conducted by the Building Official. The Building Official shall review all plans and applications for building permits for compliance with this chapter both before and during construction. If, during the course of an inspection, the Building Official finds that an application for a building permit, or the construction work, does not comply with this subchapter, he or she shall so inform the applicant or owner of such non-compliance and shall order any further construction or work to be stopped until such time as the plans or the construction work, or both, conform to the requirements of this subchapter.
   (B)   Where other departments or agencies require inspections, the Building Official shall ensure that such inspections are conducted in a timely fashion so as not to cause undue delay in construction.
   (C)   All inspections and issuance of certificates of occupancy shall be conducted in accordance with the current edition of the Building Code, as the same now exists or may hereafter be amended.
