3-1-2: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this chapter:
   CONTESTED CASE: A contested case exists whenever:
   A.   Legal rights, duties, or privileges of specific parties are required by statute, constitution, ordinance, rule or regulation to be determined only after a hearing.
   B.   The county has discretion to suspend or revoke a right or privilege of a person.
   C.   There is a suspension, revocation or refusal to renew or issue a license where the licensee or applicant for a license demands an administrative hearing.
   D.   There is a proceeding in which the county elects to grant an administrative hearing, in accordance with contested case requirements.
   PARTY: Any person or agency entitled to a hearing as of right before the county with respect to the matter in issue, or named or admitted as a party. (Ord. 157, 6-14-2006)
