§ 160.037 FEES.
   (A)   Payment. A permit shall not be valid until the fees prescribed by law have been paid, nor shall an amendment to a permit be released until the additional fee, if any, has been paid.
   (B)   Document review by village staff shall not proceed until the application fee has been paid. No document shall be presented for approval until the application fee has been paid.
   (C)   Schedule of permit fees.
      (1)   For buildings, structures, electrical, gas, and mechanical systems or alterations requiring a permit, a fee for each permit shall be paid as required.
      (2)   Building permit fees shall be established from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees.
   (D)   Related fees. The payment of the fee for the construction, alteration, removal or demolition for work done in connection to or concurrently with the work authorized by a building permit shall not relieve the applicant or holder of the permit from the payment of other fees that are prescribed by law.
   (E)   Refunds. No refund shall be made in the event of permit revocation or building project abandonment or discontinuance. The Building Official is authorized to establish a refund policy.
