All money or stakes being used in the conduct of any gambling game, when seized by police officers shall be brought before the court, and if the court, upon hearing the evidence, finds the money or stakes to have been used in conducting a gambling game, the money or stakes shall be forfeited to the village by the court ordering the money or stakes deposited in the village treasury.
