Upon the issuance of a village issued certificate, the Village Administrator, or his/her designee, shall deliver to the licensee a vehicle for hire village sticker with the year for which the village issued certificate is issued, for each and every vehicle for hire for which a village issued certificate is procured. The applicant shall affix such village sticker in an approved place upon the rear of the vehicle for hire. No vehicle for hire, although licensed in accordance with the provision of this chapter, shall be used upon the streets, avenues or alleys of the village unless such village sticker is attached thereto.
