(A) The village may initiate suspension and/or revocation proceedings for a village issued certificate issued under this chapter for any of the following:
(1) Violation of any ordinance provisions regulating a licensee of a vehicle for hire;
(2) Knowingly suffering a driver of a licensee to drive a vehicle for hire with a driver's license that is suspended or revoked under the State Vehicle Code, ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-100, et seq.;
(3) Having as a driver a person who is not licensed as a vehicle for hire driver pursuant to this chapter.
(B) Any person whose certificate has been revoked shall immediately return every such village issued certificate to the Village Administrator.
