Nothing contained within the provisions of this chapter shall be construed or interpreted to mean or imply that the village or any of its officers, employees or agents assumes any liability for any of the following:
(A) Any defect in the operation of any alarm system;
(B) Any failure or neglect to respond appropriately to an alarm from an alarm system; or
(C) Any failure or neglect in connection with the installation and operation of equipment, the transmission of an alarm by any means, prerecorded alarm messages or the relaying of the alarms.
