§ 70.02 DEFINITIONS.
   Whenever any words and phrases used in this chapter are not defined herein but are defined in the Illinois Vehicle Code (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-101 et seq.), as supplemented and amended, any definition therein shall be deemed to apply to the words and phrases used in this chapter, except when the context otherwise requires. The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall, for the purpose of this chapter, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section below, except when the context otherwise requires.
   CORPORATE AUTHORITIES. The President and Board of Trustees of the village.
   DIRECTOR OF STREETS AND ALLEYS. The Director of Streets and Alleys of the village or his or her designee.
   DISABILITIES REGISTRATION PLATE OR PARKING DEVICE. Any valid registration plate issued to a person with disabilities or to a disabled veteran by the Secretary of State pursuant to §§ 3-616 or 3-609 of the Illinois Vehicle Code or any valid parking decal or device issued by any unit of local government pursuant to § 11-1301.2 of the Illinois Vehicle Code, or any other license plate or parking decal or device issued by another jurisdiction, including any state or local authority thereof, district, territory or foreign country designating that a motor vehicle is operated by a person with disabilities or a disabled veteran.
   ILLINOIS VEHICLE CODE. The Illinois Vehicle Code (ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-101 et seq.), as supplemented and amended.
   RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. Any territory in the village limits, including all streets and highways thereto, zoned as RS, R-1, R-2 or R-3.
   VILLAGE. The Village of Mahomet, Champaign County, Illinois.
