For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ASHES. The waste product of combustion of any material.
CUSTOMER. Any tenant, lessee or occupant of any dwelling, tenant house, lodging house, hotel, restaurant, boarding house, or other person, persons, firm or corporation who hires a hauler as defined herein for the purpose of regularly collecting garbage.
GARBAGE. Includes kitchen and household garbage and ashes and other refuse matters as herein defined.
GARBAGE CONTAINER. Containers having a minimum capacity not to exceed 30 gallons.
HAULER. A person licensed under this chapter.
KITCHEN AND HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE. Any, all and every accumulation of vegetable matter, liquid or solids, that is received from kitchens and households, and also any, all and every decayed or unsound matter, such as vegetables and fruits.
OTHER REFUSE. Sweepings, papers, tin cans, dirt or other accumulations not giving off noxious odors.
VEHICLE. Automobile, truck or any vessel, vehicle or wagon used to transport garbage or refuse as herein defined.
