For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLE. Any motor-driven vehicle which the owner or owners thereof, including any person having a security interest therein, have deserted and left unclaimed on any lot or parcel of ground or upon any right-of-way within the corporate limits of the city.
AUTOMOBILE AND MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS. Any portion or parts of any motor-driven vehicle detached from the vehicle as a whole.
MOTOR VEHICLE IN AN OPERATIVE CONDITION. Any style of type of motor-driven vehicle used or useful for the conveyance of persons or property which is wrecked, partially dismantled, non-operating, junked and/or is unable to move under its owner power and which has remained in such condition for a period in excess of thirty (30) consecutive days.
MOTOR VEHICLE or MACHINERY JUNKYARD. Any place where five (5) or more junked, wrecked or inoperative vehicles, machines, and other such similar scrap or salvage materials are deposited, parked, placed or otherwise located.
