The order of business of the City Council shall be as follows:
(1) Calling roll and noting absentees.
(2) Reading minutes of last meeting and action thereon.
(3) Reports of city officers.
(4) Reports of committees.
(5) Presentations of claims against the city and action thereon.
(6) Unfinished business appearing on the minutes.
(7) New business.
(8) Adjournment.
