§ 31.34 ATTENDANCE BY CHIEF OF POLICE AT MEETINGS.

It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police, either in person or by a policeman, to attend all meetings of the City Council and to assist in keeping order, and to obey all orders and mandates, legally directed and delivered to him by that body, and for each failure to do so without legal excuse, he shall be punished.
