For the purpose of this chapter the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
TAXICAB. All motor vehicles used to transport passengers for hire; however, buses operating under a certificate of convenience of necessity issued by the Department of Motor Transportation shall come under the provisions of this chapter.
