§ 111.01 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CHARITABLE SOLICITATIONS CAMPAIGN. Any course of conduct whereby any person, organization, society, association, corporation, or any agent, member, or representative thereof (hereafter called solicitor) shall solicit property or financial assistance of any kind or sell or offer to sell any article, tag, service, emblem, publication, ticket, advertisement, subscription, or anything of value on the plea or representation that such sale or solicitation or the proceeds therefrom are for a charitable, educational, patriotic, religious, or philanthropic purpose.
