§ 102.04 PRESERVATION OF OBLIGATION TO OBTAIN A FRANCHISE AND ENTER INTO A FRANCHISE AGREEMENT.
   (A)   Nothing in this chapter relieves any person of an otherwise applicable legal obligation to:
      (1)   Seek and obtain a franchise from the city; and
      (2)   Execute a franchise agreement with the city.
   (B)   To the extent reasonable and appropriate, the terms of any franchise issued or franchise agreement entered into by the city shall be consistent with the terms of this chapter.
