The Mayor of the city, with the approval of the City Council may appoint two (2) alternate members of the Board of Ethics who may be called upon to serve when any regular member of the Board is unable to discharge his duties. An alternate member shall be appointed for a term of one (1) year. Alternate members shall meet all qualifications and be subject to all of the requirements of this chapter that apply to regular members.
