No permit is required for any member or members of a religious, charitable, educational, or youth service organization selling food and/or beverages to raise funds for such organization and for no other purpose. However, their operations shall comply with all other sections of this chapter. The city may require any organization or individual claiming an exception from this chapter to present evidence in support of said membership and purpose. No permit shall be required for mobile food vendors associated with organized events/festivals such as city sponsored events, carnivals, circuses and fairs. Lemonade stands and/or similar such stands on private property operated by a minor shall also be exempt from these standards. Produce, and similar products, sold by the property owner and/or tenant on which the produce is grown shall also be exempt.
