§ 36.12 POLICE POWER GIVEN TO FIRE CHIEF.
   The Chief of the Fire Department is given authority, in case of necessity, to employ additional help, to help extinguish fires or to take the place of absent members. For the purpose of this subchapter and section, and in furtherance of his duties, and with the help of Fire Department members under his control, he is granted and clothed with all the powers and privileges of a regular policeman, under the state statutes and the city ordinances.
