(A) The office of city police officer is hereby re-established.
(B) The powers and duties of the office of the city police officer shall be stated in the adopted position description for said position as contained in the classification plan for city employees, or as otherwise provided by the City Council.
(C) The individual holding the position of city police officer shall take the oath of office.
