§ 90.16 PROHIBITION ON OWNERSHIP OF WILD ANIMALS.
   The keeping or holding of wild animals that are inherently dangerous, exotic wildlife, endangered species, or wildlife whose importation or possession is prohibited by any federal or state law or regulation is prohibited, and declared to be unlawful. This section shall not apply to any zoo accredited by the American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums; licensed circuses and theatrical exhibits; authorized wildlife rehabilitators with any required state-issued permits; licensed veterinary hospitals for the purpose of treating injured animals or federally-licensed research institution.
