In the event that the property owner shall fail to abate the violation within five regular business days of the date of the notice and has not filed notice within 48 hours to the City Clerk of an intent to appeal, the city may employ the services of city employees or outside contractors and remove the weeds to conform with this subchapter by all lawful means. The property owners shall be responsible for reimbursing the city for the full cost of abatement by the outside contractor or city employees at a rate established in § 34.01.
