§ 55.08 SERVICE INTERRUPTION.
The City of Madison is committed to doing everything within its means to provide an adequate supply of electrical power for its customers. Unfortunately, due to a variety of factors including but not limited to weather, equipment failure, accidents, interruption of power supply from other sources, there is no guarantee of continuous, uninterrupted service to any customer. Therefore, the customer is responsible to provide protection for their own property if an interruption of electric service damage may result from an interruption in electric service. Because of these factors, the City of Madison disclaims all liability for all damages for any failure to deliver electric power hereunder except for its own voluntary act or neglect to exercise reasonable care and diligence in performance of its duties.
