§ 70.20 DIRECT CROSSINGS.
   It is a misdemeanor to operate a snowmobile on a state or county highway or roadway except to make a direct crossing, and only as follows.
   (A)   The crossing is made at an angle of approximately 90 degrees to the direction of the highway or roadway and at a place where no obstruction prevents a quick and safe crossing.
   (B)   The snowmobile is brought to a complete stop before crossing the shoulder or the main highway or roadway.
   (C)   The operator yields the right-of-way to all oncoming vehicle traffic.
   (D)   The crossing is not to be made between the hours of 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise, or in conditions of reduced visibility, if the front and rear lights are not on and properly operating.
