(A) A snowmobile may not be operated on a state or county road or highway within the city limits. A snowmobile may be operated on other streets, roads, or highways within the city limits only as herein specified.
(B) It is a petty misdemeanor to operate a snowmobile upon streets, roadways, highways, public lands, or waters, within the city as follows:
(1) At a rate of speed in excess of 15 mph;
(2) Other than in single file on a street, road, or highway;
(3) Other than to the extreme right of a street, road, or highway;
(4) On publicly owned land, including school land, park property, playgrounds, and recreation areas; and
(5) Within 100 feet of any church property during church services, within 100 feet of any school building, nursing home, skating rink, or sliding area, or in any other area where the operation would conflict or interfere with the normal use of the property or would endanger persons or property.
