The city officials and Council members shall at all times fully cooperate with the Department, and see to it that the firefighters are properly equipped with the apparatus and appliances as may be necessary to make it possible for efficiency of the Department in the protection of life and property of the citizens at large, and that the Department has proper quarters for its meetings.
