§ 150.83 DEFINITIONS.
   (A)   Definitions found in certain city ordinances, including:
      (1)   Chapter 92, Fire Prevention;
      (2)   Chapter 96, Nuisances-Health and Safety;
      (3)   Chapter 150, Building Regulations;
      (4)   Chapter 153, Sub-Division Regulations;
      (5)   Chapter 154, Unsafe Buildings as well as other related ordinances, are hereby adopted by reference as if fully set out in this subchapter save and except for those listed separately herein for clarification purposes.
   (B)   Definitions found in certain Indiana Code Sections, including:
      (1)   IC 13-11-2-146 "Open Dump";
      (2)   IC 13-11-2-147 "Open Dumping";
      (3)   IC 13-11-2-205 "Solid Waste"
are hereby adopted by reference as if fully set out in this subchapter.
   "FILL." Material(s) such as soil, sand, gravel, small rocks, etc. intentionally deposited upon a location in order to raise the elevation of a depression in the earth or to provide a base for placement or erection of a structure, including material(s) used for backfilling purposes See also: "FILL, APPROVED".
   "FILL, APPROVED." Fill materials which exhibit the proper characteristics for compressibility and compactibility as required by § 150.84 of this subchapter and other applicable standards.
   "HAZARDOUS MATERIALS." Any materials which present a fire, explosion, or a health hazard and, for the purposes of this subchapter, include hazardous, regulated, and special wastes including any materials which are bio-hazards.
   Explicit definitions may be found in documents such as the Indiana Fire Prevention Code and those published by the National Fire Protection Association, United States Environmental Protection Agency, United States Department of Transportation, United States Safety and Health Administration, as well as other sources.
   "STONES, SMALL." Small rock fragments less than three inches (7.6 centimeters) in diameter as defined in the Soil Survey of Jefferson County, Indiana prepared by the United States Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service in May 1985.
