§ 130.08 ETHNIC HARASSMENT.
   (A)   No person shall with intent to hold up any other person or group to harassment, disgrace, embarrassment, or ridicule by reason of the other person's race, color, religion, or national origin and with no intent of legitimate communication display any sign, symbol, or object in a public place or a place visible to the public.
   (B)   Procedure. Proceedings for violation of this ordinance may be commenced in any court of record in Jefferson County, Indiana, by the filing of a citation and shall be prosecuted by the city legal department. In addition, the Madison City Police may confiscate any such offending sign, symbol, or object and remove it from public view.
