The Office of the Treasurer of the city is authorized and directed to take all lawful steps necessary to report to and seek distributions from the Illinois State Local Government Video Gamin Distributive Fund, per ILCS Ch. 230, Act 40, § 60(b), as now or as hereafter amended. The Office of the Treasurer shall report no less often than annually to the City Council concerning distributions from the fund. All such funds received from the Local Government Video Gaming Distributive Fund, and all license fees collected under this section, shall deposited into the general purposes accounts for the city and may be used for any general purposes authorized the city.
