A violation, by any person, corporation or otherwise, whether as principal agent, employee, or otherwise, of any provisions of this code shall be a misdemeanor, subject, upon conviction, to a fine of not more than $750 for each offense; and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during, or on which a violation occurs or continues.
