§ 92.05  PAINTING, POSTING AND THE LIKE.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, except a public officer or employee in the performance of a public duty, to paste, paint, print, nail, tack or otherwise fasten any card, banner, handbill, sign, poster or notice of any kind, or cause the same to be done upon any tree or shrub upon any public street, highway, parkway or other public property within the city, except as may be required by the ordinances of the city or the laws of the state or of the United States.
